I've restored two oranges
There is nothing more heartbreaking than the scene of a Palestinian refugee retrieving oranges from his/her own displaced village by stealth from a house after the village is displaced!
Im Mohammad, another story of a Palestinian refugee, from Kuwait to the village of Fajah – vicinities of Jaffa, the village that was ethnically cleansed in 1948 was famous for its oranges. In 1948 the Palestinian Village was demolished completely in 1948, and new Israeli houses were built on top of the destroyed houses. Today, all that's left of Fajah are a couple of Palestinian graves; the village is currently incorporated into “Petah Tikva” district.
Im Mohammad “Coming back is such an indescribable feeling! I’m in heaven”.
